PFS1200 Front-End Power Supplies

Bel Power Solutions PFS1200 Front-End Power Supplies are DSP-controlled, highly efficient, 1200W devices incorporating state-of-the-art technology. These power factor corrected (PFC) power supplies use an interleaved forward converter topology with an active clamp and synchronous rectification to reduce component stresses, increasing system reliability and high efficiency. The PFS1200 series offers a wide input voltage range, parallel operation with active digital current sharing, and an I2C communication interface for control, programming, and monitoring with PSMI and power management bus protocols. The always-on standby output provides power to external power distribution and management controllers, while status information is provided with a front-panel LED. Cooling is managed by a fan controlled by the DSP controller.
