AEDC & AEDM Motion Feedback Encoders

Broadcom AEDC and AEDM Motion Feedback Encoders are high-resolution, high-performance three-channel optical incremental encoders. These encoders emphasize high reliability, high resolution, and easy assembly. Each encoder contains a LED source with lens, LED current regulation, interpolator and output driver circuitry, an ASIC with integrated photodetector arrays, and a code wheel that rotates between the emitter and detector ASIC. Broadcom AEDC and AEDM Motion Feedback Encoders use a film code wheel that allows for resolutions up to 5000 cycles per revolution (CPR).
