HAW562 Surge Arresters

Endress+Hauser HAW562 Surge Arresters are designed for DIN-rail mounting and protect electronic components from being destroyed by overvoltage. These surge arresters weaken residual currents from upstream lightning protection steps and limit system-induced or system-generated overvoltage surges. The simple devices ensure that overvoltage surges in power lines, signal cables (such as 4mA to 20mA), and fieldbus communication lines are safely passed into the ground. The functionality of the protected transmitters or electronic components is not affected. Endress+Hauser HAW562 Surge Arresters are easy to install and operate and are tested for vibration and shock according to EN 60068-2. The HAW562 series is ideal for industries and sectors such as food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and water and wastewater.
