Han-Modular® Connector System

HARTING Han-Modular® Heavy-Duty Connector System is designed to provide users with a very high degree of connectivity and manufacturing flexibility. Han-Modular connectors can combine electrical, optical, and gaseous signal and power connections in one easy assembly. Basic modules snap into the mounting frame and can be exchanged separately anytime. Combinations of 1 to 12 modules are possible, depending on the size of the hood and housing chosen. Han-Modular consists of more than 40 module types and can connect to currents from 5A up to 200A, voltages from 50V to 5000V, pneumatic tubes from 1.6mm up to 10mm inner diameter, sensitive bus signals, and fiber-optic signals in both POF. and glass fiber cables. Han-Modular offers a range of basic modules developed to meet the vast majority of user application requirements. This product offering allows users to choose the hoods and housings, inserts, and accessories that best meet design requirements.

Han M12 GND Modules

HARTING Han M12 GND Modules offer the same dimensions and features as the previous Han M12 module but include a grounding (GND) spring plate that is fixed on the module. This GND spring plate makes an electrical connection from the shield of the M12 insert to the hinged frames, so that the shield is grounded. All other technical features and outer dimensions of the HARTING Han M12 GND Modules match the pre-existing M12 module, making them 100% mating compatible. The existing D-coded and X-coded M12 inserts are suitable, meaning the shield will be connected to the ground potential of the hinged frames. Han M12 inserts with a metal nut can be used in these GND modules (these inserts are recommended for use in Han M12 GND modules only). Han M12 GND is designed for transportation applications. These modules serve to integrate Ethernet or other bus connections into modular connectors. Han M12 GND can be used as a space-saving alternative to Han-Quintax, Han Gigabit, or Han Megabit modules.
