Infineon Technologies EZ-USB™ FX3 SuperSpeed Controllers are designed to enable developers to add USB 3.0 device functionality to any application. EZ-USB FX3 Controllers have a fully configurable, General Programmable Interface (GPIF™ II) that can interface with any processor, ASIC, image sensor, or FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). GPIF II provides easy connectivity to popular industry interfaces such as synchronous Slave FIFO, asynchronous SRAM, asynchronous and synchronous Address Data Multiplexed interface, and Compact Flash. 

HX3™ USB 3.0 Hub Controllers

Infineon Technologies HX3™ USB 3.0 Hub Controllers offer advanced charging capabilities, featuring eight downstream ports for enhanced connectivity and flexible design. These highly-interoperable Infineon EZ-USB™ hub controllers offer a feature set with robust interoperability, extensive charging support, and full configurability. HX3 devices are ideal for use in docking stations, monitors, Ultrabook™ devices, digital TVs, set-top boxes, printers, and servers. The versatile HX3 USB 3.0 hub controller offers a Ghost Charging™ feature for charging devices without a host, and it also supports the USB-IF Battery Charging v1.2 specification and charging of Apple devices. HX3 is also the first SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0) hub controller to offer an Accessory Charger Adapter Dock (ACA-Dock) feature, which enables upstream charging for portable devices with a USB On-The-Go (OTG) host.
