iMOTION™ IMI110 Integrated Power Modules (IPM)

Infineon Technologies iMOTION™ IMI110 Integrated Power Modules (IPMs) combine a PMSM/BLDC motor controller, a 600V three-phase gate driver, and a voltage regulator in an LQFP-40 package. The IMD110 devices drive a wide variety of MOSFETs or IGBTs and are designed to control three-phase motors. The modules perform sensorless field-oriented control (FOC) for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The devices provide application flexibility by utilizing an integrated script engine (small virtual machine) to run user scripts.

iMOTION™ IPM Family

Infineon iMOTION™ intelligent power modules (IPM) are a family of highly integrated products for the control of variable speed drives. Infineon iMOTION integrate the required hardware and software to perform sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). This provides the highest energy efficient appliance motor system with the lowest system cost.
