AEC-Q200 Hybrid Polymer Capacitors

KEMET AEC-Q200 Hybrid Polymer Capacitors are designed for automotive applications with extremely high demands. These high-temperature capacitors offer high ripple current, vibration resistance, and a polarized all-welded design. The winding is housed in a cylindrical aluminum can with a high-purity aluminum lid and a high-quality rubber gasket. The winding is also impregnated with a liquid electrolyte for self-healing abilities. KEMET hybrid polymers are available in multiple form factors that include axial, radial crown, and surface mount. KEMET's hybrid polymers are available in multiple form factors. The PHH and A7C series have a radial design for vertical mounting. The PHA series parts are axials, suitable for horizontal mounting with a low profile. The PHS, PHV, and A78 families are surface-mount devices and reflow capable. KEMET AEC-Q200 Hybrid Polymer Capacitors are suitable for use in mobile, automotive, and aircraft installations.

Aluminum Hybrid Polymer Capacitors

KEMET Aluminum Hybrid Polymer Capacitors contain both conductive polymer and conventional "wet" electrolyte, resulting in outstanding electrical performance. These capacitors are housed in cylindrical aluminum cans with a high-quality rubber deck, achieving low ESR using highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS). The polymer system constructs an electrical pathway between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode through a mechanical separator paper. The winding is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte that enables the self-heating features of the oxide film layer or dielectric of the capacitor. KEMET Aluminum Hybrid Polymer Capacitors offer mechanical robustness and are ideal for use in industrial, automotive, and aircraft installations.

AEC-Q200 Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

KEMET AEC-Q200 Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors provide a 6.3VDC to 600VDC voltage range, 6800µF maximum capacitance, and up to 15,000 hours of life. Many of these capacitors feature vibration resistance and a high ripple current. KEMET AEC-Q200 Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors work in a -55°C to +150°C operating temperature range. 

A78x Conductive Polymer Hybrid Capacitors

KEMET A78x Conductive Polymer Hybrid Capacitors are available in standard and anti-vibration types with outstanding electrical performance and up to 4000 hours of life at +125°C or +135°C. These surface-mount modules feature winding housed in a cylindrical aluminum can with a high-quality rubber deck. Low ESR is achieved by using a highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS). This polymer system creates an electrical pathway between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode through a mechanical separator paper. The winding is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte for self-healing capabilities. KEMET A78x Conductive Polymer Hybrid Capacitors are robust and suitable for use in mobile, automotive, and aircraft installations with operating temperatures from -55°C to +125°C or +135°C.
