70-9296 Poke-Home Micro Single Vertical Contacts

KYOCERA AVX 70-9296 Poke-Home Micro Single Vertical Contacts are compatible with both solid and stranded wires ranging from 26AWG down to 22AWG and current ratings up to 8A. The 26AWG stranded wires may need to be pre-tinned to facilitate insertion, due to the mechanical stiffness of the small contact. The set of four contacts provide both top and bottom entry for FR4 and metal core printed circuit boards. The 70-9296 Series offers a robust and discrete wire termination without the expense of an insulator and assembly costs. This KYOCERA AVX family complements the existing vertical poke home connectors already on the market, providing a lower cost solution without sacrificing performance.

KYOCERA AVX Poke-Home Connectors come in vertical top entry, inverted thru board, single vertical top entry, horizontal, and low-profile horizontal options as well as STRIPT™ contacts and wire-to-wire connectors.

70-9296 Micro Single Vertical Poke-Home Contacts

KYOCERA AVX 70-9296 Micro Single Vertical Poke-Home Wire-to-Board (WTB) Contacts provide cost-effective, robust discrete wire termination without the expense of an insulator and assembly costs. The top and bottom entry contacts provide a lower cost solution without jeopardizing performance. KYOCERA AVX 70-9296 contacts support both solid and stranded wires ranging from 26AWG to 22AWG and current ratings as high as 8A. Due to the mechanical stiffness of the small contact, 26AWG stranded wires may need to be pre-tinned to facilitate insertion. 9296 Poke-Home Connectors & Contacts

KYOCERA AVX 9296 Poke-Home Connectors and Contacts are innovative, horizontal, vertical, and inverse mounted connectors that provide simple and reliable solutions when connecting wires onto a PCB. The high force dual-beam contact systems provide maximum retention and performance. These KYOCERA AVX connectors and contacts accept either solid or stranded wire ranging in size from 28AWG to 12AWG.
