Microchip Technology MEC1418 MECC Board is designed for computing applications like notebooks, tablets and single board computing platforms. The MEC1418 is an embedded controller with a highly-configurable, mixed signal, advanced I/O controller architecture. A 32-bit MIPS32 M14K Microcontroller core is incorporated to the device with closely-coupled SRAM for code and data. Download the custom firmware image from the system's shared SPI Flash device using the secure boot-loader. This allows system designers to customize the device's behavior.
