Polymicro Optical Fibers

Molex Polymicro Optical Fibers are designed for ultraviolet, visible, near- and mid-infrared ranges. These optical fibers deliver dimensional control and tight tolerances designed to withstand harsh temperatures, chemicals, and radiation environments. The polymicro optical fibers include dual-cladding with numerical apertures ranging from 0.11 to 0.66 and are available in custom sizes, jackets, and coatings. These fibers come as polyimide-coated, single-mode, or graded-index fibers with various jacketing materials, including Nylon^®, Hytrel^®, and Tefzel^®. Additionally, the fiber coatings may be UV-cured, thermally cured, or extruded. The high-power polymicro optical fibers are ideal for defense, industrial, medical, and scientific applications.
