Vertical Farming

Modular System

Molex Heavy Duty Connector (HDC) Modular System allows users to design and assemble connectors to meet a designer's specific requirements. The system is made of a support frame and a mobile element to block the modular inserts. Specific holes in the support frame allow the insertion of single and double modules, and the mobile element allows a steady fastening of the modules with lateral scrolling. Captive screws allow the modular connector to become a monoblock structure resistant to impacts and vibrations, and resistant to compression and traction when coupling male and female inserts. Molex HDC Modular System is compatible with all HDC enclosures and DIN rail supports and is available in frame sizes 10A, 6B, 10B, 16B, 24B 32B (2x16B), and 48B (2x24B).

Molex Rugged and Reliable product portfolio provides a dependable solution that delivers robust performance and efficiency in compact sizes, guaranteeing secure and steady power and connectivity. These Transportation grade connectors include solutions for other harsh environments applications with an electrical system, applications with an electrical module sensor unit, distribution system, and control panels. Ideal applications for the Molex rugged and reliable solutions extend beyond automotive applications, such as smart agriculture, EV charging, watercraft, home appliances, recreational vehicles, electric scooters, and e-bikes.

Heavy Duty Power Connectors

Molex Heavy Duty Connectors are used in control panels, robotics, industrial automation, and harsh environments. The connectors are suitable for use with AC and DC and to facilitate the manufacturing process, installation, and maintenance of sectional electric parts. The inserts in self-extinguishing thermoplastic material UL 94V-0 are available with screw terminals, screw terminals with terminal block, spring terminals, crimp terminals, and push-in terminals. Turned contacts manufactured for all insert versions, are made in hard-silver or in hard-gold coated copper alloy. A complete range of stamped crimp contacts, supplied on a reel, is also available along with the turned version.

Environmentally Sealed Connectors

Molex offers a wide range of standard-sealed and custom-sealed interconnect systems.
