Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MagAlpha™ MA782 Angle Sensor detects the absolute angular position of a permanent magnet, such as a diametrically magnetized cylinder on a rotating shaft. The timing is controlled by an on-chip clock or via an external controller, and the flags detect a definable amount of angle change. The MA782 offers a power cycling ability, making it an ideal choice for applications that require low average power.
