EVA Compact Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs)

Murata EVA Compact Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) feature an extended creepage distance, supporting over 10mm for both creepage distance and clearance distance. The EVA series is ideal for the electric vehicle (EV) market and applications, such as onboard chargers (OBCs), inverters and DC/DC converters, battery management systems (BMS), and wireless power transfer (WPT) implementations. These safety-certified Y2 class MLCCs have been developed in accordance with IEC60384-14 requirements, making them highly effective at suppressing common mode noise in next-generation EVs. The modules offer 305VAC/1500VDC voltage ratings, 2000VAC/60s and 4000VDC/60s withstand voltage, and 100pF to 4700pF capacitance range.

Automotive Capacitors

Murata offers many types of automotive capacitors, including ceramic, polymer aluminum electrolytic, trimmer, supercapacitor (EDLC), single layer microchip, and variable.

Multilayer Ceramic Safety Capacitors

Murata Multilayer Ceramic Safety Capacitors are safety standard certified resin molding SMD type capacitors for automotive use. These capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified. The multilayer ceramic safety capacitors offer a capacitance range of 100pF to 4700pF at a ten percent tolerance capacitance range. These capacitors operate at -55°C to 125°C temperature range and 305VAC(r.m.s.) rated voltage. The multilayer ceramic safety capacitors are ideally used in automotive powertrain/safety equipment, automotive infotainment/comfort equipment, and consumer, industrial, mobile, and medical equipment.
