16-Bit S12 MagniV® S12ZVM Mixed-Signal MCUs

NXP Semiconductors 16-Bit S12 MagniV® S12ZVM Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers (MCUs) offer a small, efficient, and scalable 3-phase motor control solution for industrial and automotive applications. The S12ZVM MCUs are ideal for use with Brushless DC Motors (BLDC), Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), and Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM). NXP Semiconductors MagniV S12ZVM MCUs feature an enhanced S12Z core, a combination of dual-ADC synchronized with PWM generation, and the integration of high-voltage analog modules. The analog modules include a Voltage Regulator (VREG), Gate Drive Unit (GDU), and either Local Interconnect Network (LIN) Physical Layer or Controller Area Network (CAN) Physical Layer. These features enable a fully integrated single-chip solution to drive up to six external power MOSFETs for BLDC or PMSM motor drive applications.
