MSO4™ microPEM® Self-Clinching Standoffs

PEM MSO4™ microPEM® Self-Clinching Standoffs are designed for mounting and/or spacing in applications with extremely limited space. These standoffs are used to stack or space internal components and offer strong, permanent, and reusable load-bearing threads in metal sheets as thin as 0.012" (0.3mm). The MSO4 series are available in thread sizes as small as M1 with metric lengths of 2mm and 3mm and unified lengths of 0.94" and 0.125". These fasteners include PEM's trademark single-groove design and are made from heat-treated 400 series stainless steel, resulting in stronger threads than weld standoffs. PEM MSO4 microPEM Self-Clinching Standoffs are ideal for compact electronics, such as wearables, laptops, tablets, smartphones, gaming devices, infotainment, and more.

Consumer Electronics (Tack)

PEM Consumer Electronics (Tack) offer microPEM® solutions such as TackPin® fasteners to assemble electronic devices that have thin-sheet or panel enclosures. PEM fasteners are smaller than screws and have a sleek cosmetic profile, making them ideal for today's consumer electronics. They are lighter, stronger, and more reliable than traditional screws. They are also easier to install, which results in faster production and reduced maintenance on the line. PEM fasteners also reduce or eliminate loose hardware, which means less scrap waste. PEM Consumer Electronics (Tack) products feature a variety of TackPin Self-Clinching Fasteners, including MPP™ microPEM Self-Clinching Pins, MSOFS™ microPEM Flaring Standoffs, SMTSO™ microPEM Surface-Mount Fasteners.
