FSD & FSDX Ferrules

Panduit FSD and FSDX Series Ferrules offer a wire size range of 26AWG to 300kcmil, a single wire design, and meet DIN standards. FSD series ferrules feature polypropylene insulation housing that conforms to DIN color requirements, a funnel entry for faster insertion, and are designed with a seamless barrel to contain loose wire strands for superior terminations. FSDX series ferrules have an expanded sleeve that provides a wider inside diameter to allow ferrules to fit easily over thick insulated wires and contain colored sleeves to allow for the visual color designation of wire size to aid in easy identification. In addition to the FSD and FSDX ferrules, Panduit provides FSDXL ferrules with sleeves for short-circuit protection with a wider inside diameter sleeve that offers a significant air gap between the wire and the outside material to prevent an electrical arc in terminal block and panel building applications.
