High Current Power Bead Inductors

Pulse Electronics High Current Power Bead Inductors offer a 50nH to 320nH inductance range, 148A maximum saturation current, and maximum height options of 4.5mm, 7mm, 8mm, and 12mm. These inductors provide low core loss using high-frequency materials, reduced DCR, and higher current ratings in different footprints. The multi-phase buck topology used distributes the current among multiple parallel paths with staggered turn off and turn on. Because of the staggering fashion, the ripple currents in each phase tend to cancel at the output, and the overall ripple current seen at the load is much smaller than the ripple on each phase. Pulse Electronics High Current Power Bead Inductors are used in single-phase PoL and multi-phase buck converters to power processors, memory modules, FPGAs, and ASICS in servers, data centers, networking systems, and graphic cards.
