Input EMI & Safety Standard Approved Capacitors

EPCOS / TDK Input EMI & Safety Standard Approved Capacitors are available in Metallized Film and Ceramic and are used mainly in industrial, consumer and lighting applications such as for RFI suppression and ESD prevention. The special features of these UL and ENEC certified components are self-extinction and overvoltage security, which is ensured by a special resin filling as well as an "open circuit" failure mode to avoid dangerous shorts. The available categories are X and Y and their subclasses.

EMI Suppression Capacitors - MKP

The EPCOS EMI Suppression Capacitors - MKP are ideal for X2 class applications for interference suppression and for "across the line" applications. Constructed of  polypropylene dielectrics, the EPCOS EMI suppression capacitors - MKP feature very small dimensions, self-healing properties, and are available in standard lead lengths from 1mm - 6mm. All capacitors are marked with logo, lot number, date code, rated capacitance and tolerance, rated AC voltage, series number, sub-class (X2), dielectric code (MKP), climatic category, passive flammability category, and approvals.
