Micro-MaTch .050 Connector Series

TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch .050 Connector Series offers a contact spacing of 1.27mm and features a variety of wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. The Micro-MaTch contacts avoid the traditional failure mode in tin-plated connections, called fretting corrosion. Vibrations/thermal expansion between male and female contacts cause relative movements that are absorbed by an additional positioning spring in the female part. A gas-tight connection allows the Micro-MaTch contact spring system to resist fretting corrosion by preventing movement on the contact spot.
