THM Medical DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power THM Medical DC/DC Converters come in small, DIP plastic packages with a reinforced I/O isolation system that complies with the medical safety requirements for 2XMOPP (Means of Patient Protection). Available with a wide 2:1 or ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage (WI suffix) range and an internal EMI filter to meet EN55022 class A, the converters constitute a reliable solution for many demanding medical and industrial applications.

THM-20WI Series DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power THM-20WI Series DC/DC Converters are medical 20W DC/DC converters with ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range in a 1.6" x 1.0" plastic package. These converters provide a reinforced isolation system for 5000VACrms isolation and a very low leakage current of less than 2.5µA. The THM-20WI units are approved to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection). The converters are provided with an ISO 14971 risk management file. With a high efficiency of up to 89% and highest-grade components, the converters can reliably operate in an ambient temperature range of -40°C up to +80°C. TRACO Power THM-20WI converters offer a reliable solution for medical equipment as well as demanding ranges of applications such as transportation, control and measurement, or IGBT drivers.

Medical DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power Medical DC/DC Converters are advanced solutions for optimally powered medical applications. These medical DC/DC converters offer high reliability with compact construction and certification according to IEC60101-1 3rd edition and EMC emission to IEC 60601-1-2 4th edition. These converters are designed specifically for medical equipment requiring certified compliance with highly regulated medical standards. The devices are designed according to ISO 14971, including the risk management file. TRACO Power Medical DC/DC Converters range from 1W to 60W output power, covering DC inputs from 4.5V to 72V, single or dual outputs, and a reinforced isolation system of 5000VAC with a very low leakage current of <5µA for 2XMOPP compliance.
