Mold IR Receiver Modules

Vishay IR Receiver Modules in a Mold package feature best transmission distance and a multitude of mechanical options. These Vishay IR modules are ideal for set-top box applications. The devices are miniaturized IR receiver modules for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and a preamplifier are assembled on a lead frame, and the epoxy package contains an IR filter.

IR Sensors for Presence & Proximity

Vishay Semiconductors IR Sensors for Presence and Proximity consist of two basic types: the AGC 0 and AGC P (for proximity). The AGC 0 modules feature a fixed gain, enabling reproducible object detection in variable ambient lighting conditions. These AGC 0 type sensors are suitable for both reflective and interruptive (such as a light curtain) sensor applications. The AGC P modules contain an automatic gain circuit, optimized to provide differential range information. The AGC P type sensors are useful for reflective sensor applications where information about an object's movement from the sensor is required.
