TSSP9x IR Sensor Modules

Vishay Semiconductors TSSP9x IR Sensor Modules are compact infrared detector modules designed for presence, proximity, and light curtain applications. The series offers an active low output in response to infrared bursts at 940nm. The frequency of the burst should correspond to the carrier frequency for each device. Additional features include sensitivity at 0.4mW/m2, a supply voltage from 1.8V to 3.6V, and a supply current of 0.37mA. Vishay Semiconductors TSSP9x IR Sensor Modules are available in 38kHz and 56kHz modulation frequencies.

IR Sensors for Presence & Proximity

Vishay Semiconductors IR Sensors for Presence and Proximity consist of two basic types: the AGC 0 and AGC P (for proximity). The AGC 0 modules feature a fixed gain, enabling reproducible object detection in variable ambient lighting conditions. These AGC 0 type sensors are suitable for both reflective and interruptive (such as a light curtain) sensor applications. The AGC P modules contain an automatic gain circuit, optimized to provide differential range information. The AGC P type sensors are useful for reflective sensor applications where information about an object's movement from the sensor is required.
