5G Power Supply Solutions

Vishay 5G Power Supply Solutions are a portfolio of devices that offer the highest efficiency and RF noise levels for 5G mmWave base station applications. They have a high operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. Wideband filtering can be achieved with ultra-low ESR filter capacitors, and soft recovery diodes improve PSRR and RF noise floor. 

FRED Pt® Gen4 Recovery Diodes

Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt® Gen4 Recovery Diodes are engineered for use with Vishay Trench IGBTs. These FRED Pt ultra-fast diodes are available in 600V and 650V variants to reduce conduction losses and increase efficiency. The recovery diodes are available in "U" and "H" variants. The U series provides low forward voltage down to 1.4V for 600V diodes and are optimized to deliver high speeds for higher frequency applications. The H series offers reverse recovery times down to 25ns with low typical forward voltages down to 1.65V for 600V devices. Typical applications for Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt Gen4 Recovery Diodes include high-frequency converters in power modules, motor drives, solar inverters, DC/DC converters, boosters, choppers, and more.

FRED Pt® Ultrafast Recovery Rectifiers

Vishay Semiconductors FRED (Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diodes) Pt® Ultrafast Recovery Rectifiers offer designers a highly flexible solution that's equally at home in consumer and automotive applications. With ratings from 100V to 600V and from 2A to 150A - unique in the industry - this series allows designers to increase the efficiency of power supplies with devices designed to minimize conduction and/or switching losses. The extremely low leakage current at high temperatures, careful design of chip terminations, and construction with high-quality materials make the Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt Ultrafast Recovery Rectifiers the ideal choice for automotive applications as well.
