6th Generation 650V C6D SiC Schottky Diodes

Wolfspeed 6th Generation 650V C6D SiC Schottky Diodes demonstrate technological innovation and achieve highest system-level efficiency in a PFC boost converter. The 650V SiC Schottky Diodes feature an operating voltage of 400V-450V, providing an excellent advantage in power supply applications. The C6D Diodes are ideal for paralleling devices by excluding thermal runaway problems. The C6D Diodes offer a 4A, 6A, 8A, and 10A current rating and are available in a standard TO-220-2 package.

Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky Diodes

Wolfspeed Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky Diodes are optimized for high-performance power electronics applications, including server power supplies, electric vehicle charging systems, energy storage systems, solar (PV) inverters, industrial power supplies, and consumer electronics. Compared to silicon-based solutions, Wolfspeed Silicon Carbide technology enables increased system power density, higher switching frequencies, smaller designs, cooler components, reduced size of components like inductors, capacitors, filters, and transformers, and overall cost benefits. Wolfspeed SiC diodes feature the MPS (Merged PiN Schottky) design, which is more robust and reliable than standard Schottky barrier diodes. Wolfspeed's portfolio of SiC Schottky diodes come in various packages to meet diverse application requirements.

650V Silicon Carbide Schottky Diodes

Wolfspeed 650V Silicon Carbide Schottky Diodes feature zero forward current and forward voltage drop. They also offer a low forward voltage drop (VF), low leakage current (IR), and 4A to 20A current rating. These Schottky diodes are available in standard TO-247-3 and TO-252-2 package sizes. Typical applications for Wolfspeed 650V Silicon Carbide Schottky Diodes include switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), solar, UPS, and battery charging systems.
