Würth Elektronik REDCUBE Terminals offer low contact resistance that provides minimum self-heating. Four designs cover an expansive range of processing technologies for a variety of applications. The Press-Fit terminals allow power transfers up to 500A with low heat development. Each solid press-fit pin typically has a pull-out force of more than 100N. The REDCUBE plug features the benefits of the Press-Fit design with the added benefit of a screwless cable connection. REDCUBE SMD and THR terminals are designed to meet the growing demand in electronic market. They provide high current technology and fully automated, time-saving processing. Würth REDCUBE Terminals are ideally suited for transportation, industrial, agricultural, medical, and alternative energy applications.

REDCUBE Plug and Cable Connectors

Würth Elektronik REDCUBE PLUG consists of a REDCUBE Press-Fit terminal within a plastic housing, providing power up to 120A with all the Press-Fit advantages. The press-in process of a REDCUBE PLUG is similar to REDCUBE Press-Fit and no additional tools are necessary. The housing material is glass-fiber-reinforced plastic with high heat resistance and the component can withstand deformation at high ambient temperatures. Pushing by hand on the top of the housing allows the corresponding plug to be inserted. After actuation, the spring returns to its initial position and automatically locks the plug at two positions within the plastic housing. Removing the plug works in the opposite direction. The special plating and surface post-treatment of the plug prevent surface cracking during the crimping process.
