MAX17227A Switching Voltage Regulator

Analog Devices Inc. MAX17227A Switching Voltage Regulator is a 2A nanoPower boost converter with short-circuit protection and true shutdown. This switching regulator delivers a load of up to 2A peak inductor current and offers cycle-by-cycle inductor current limit and thermal protection. The MAX17227A regulator offers ultra-low quiescent current, small total solution size, and high efficiency throughout the load and line range. This switching regulator disconnects the output from the input with no forward or reverse current, saving the battery energy. The MAX17227A device operates across a 0.4V to 5.5V wide input voltage range.

Power Management ICs

Analog Devices Inc. Power Management ICs (PMICs) power innovation with precision and efficiency. With unmatched power densities, ultra-low noise technology, and superior reliability, Analog Devices’ PMIC portfolio supports complex power architectures in the most demanding applications, including industrial, automotive, and aerospace. Electronics engineers and designers are supported with power management evaluation boards and design tools, such as LTspice®, to ease development and optimize performance. From Silent Switcher® regulators and µModule® power solutions to advanced battery management, LDOs, and digital power control, ADI delivers high-efficiency, low-noise, and compact solutions that ensure reliability and scalability.

MAX1722, MAX1723, & MAX1724 DC-DC Converters

Analog Devices MAX1722, MAX1723, and MAX1724 DC-DC Converters are compact, high-efficiency, step-up DC-DC converters available in tiny TSOT-5 and µDFN-6 packages. These devices feature a low 1.5µA quiescent supply current to ensure the highest possible light-load efficiency. Optimized for operation from one to two alkaline or nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) cells, or a single Li+ cell, these devices are ideal for applications where extremely small quiescent currents and ultra-small sizes are critical. The built-in synchronous rectification significantly improves efficiency and reduces size and cost by eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode.
