ROHM Semiconductor UCR10C High-Power Sintered Metal Shunt Resistors

ROHM Semiconductor UCR10C High-Power Sintered Metal Shunt Resistors feature high power density, low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), and high reliability for current sensing applications. For 2012-size shunt resistors, the UCR10C series delivers rated powers of 1W and 1.25W to support increasing power requirements in automotive and industrial equipment and consumer electronics. The resistors offer higher power density than conventional thick-film and metal-plate shunt resistors of similar size. This is achieved by forming a copper-based resistive element on an alumina substrate using a sintering process and optimizing heat dissipation. The metal resistive element's low TCR helps maintain stable resistance and accurate current sensing over temperature variations. Typical applications include battery management systems (BMS), energy storage systems (ESS), and home appliances.
