PiezoHapt™ & PowerHap™ Actuators

EPCOS / TDK PiezoHapt™ & PowerHap Actuators™ are ideal for providing haptic feedback to user actions in smartphones and touchpad displays. Haptics is a technology that transmits information through skin sensory feedback, such as force and vibration. PiezoHapt actuators consist of a vibration unit with a multilayer piezoelectric element and vibration plate, while the PowerHap version has multilayer piezo plates with copper inner electrodes. These TDK actuators use bows or cymbals for displacement amplification with a maximum operating voltage of 24V, 60V, or 120V. These devices are RoHS compatible and have an operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C or -40°C to +85°C. Applications include smartphones, tablets, car navigation systems, touchpad displays, controllers, household appliances, industrial equipment, and medical devices.

HVC High Voltage Contactors

TDK High Voltage Contactors (HVC) are designed to meet the requirements of high-voltage DC switching applications. The contactors are hermetically sealed for excellent reliability in harsh environments and provide high-speed arc extinguishing. The HVC series features a maximum operating voltage of up to 1000V_DC and a high continuous operating current of up to 500A.
