KYOCERA AVX 9115-000 SMT Capacitor Holders enable manufacturers to eliminate hand soldering and improve production efficiency. These holders utilize insulation displacement (IDC) technology, allowing the safe and efficient connection of a capacitor to a PCB without the need for manual processes. Key features include automated pick-and-place, reflow compatibility, high-temperature insulator material, and a 1mm clearance. Compatible with various capacitors from 6.3mm to 10mm in diameter, 9115-000 holders allow the capacitor to be secured to the PCB after the SMT process. Engineers simply run the holder through the SMT process, snap the capacitor into the holder, and terminate the leads via the IDCs without soldering or bending the leads.
